CGEIT EXAM PREP RESOURCES 
Fall 2010 Practice Exams
Success on the CGEIT exam depends to an unfortunate degree upon the 'test-manship'
of candidates. Mere knowledge of and experience in the CGEIT domains is not a reliable indicator of exam success.
Questions often do not provide enough information to select the unambiguously 'correct' answer; some questions
may appear to be 'subjective'. There is a lot of emphasis on selecting the 'best' among incomplete or otherwise
unsatisfactory responses.
Chances for exam success are enhanced by gaining experience with this sort of exam. Candidates are helped by developing
an exam strategy. Some participants
in the Spring 2010 CGEIT Exam Prep reported that the most helpful sessions were those devoted to the Practice Exam
and Review.
For the December 2010 Exam, Tunitas Group and SF-ISACA will offer two 60-item
practice exams and reviews. The exams will be available online for a short period (10 days) to be followed by webinar
and in-person (San Francisco Bay Area) sessions.
To gain access to the exam and review sessions, you must register. Links to the
activated practice exams will be emailed to registered participants on October 15 and, for the second exam, on
November 15. Answer sheets will be emailed to candidates prior to the review sessions that will occur in the first
week of November and December.

in the Spring of 2010. Some addittional resources from the Fall 2009 CGEIT Prep course including lectures and practice
questions / exams can be found here.
